Today’s unplanned and unscheduled show was dedicated to my friends in India undertaking an amazing experiment, today I noticed they were around 2000 KM into their 40 day journey so I thought it best to do some catch up for everyone.

It is with a large amount of pride and a huge helping of humility that I report we have just crossed the $5000 goal mark we set out to achieve during our 24 Hour Marathon this year!

I received an email from Jim Spath updating me about the offline donations he was tracking on his side and he reported back well over $1200 achieved by the folks at Stanley Black & Decker and thus pushed us right over the top!

Duane Nickull from Adobe invited me to join him for an upcoming episode of his Duane’s World, a video show he does on Adobe TV. This took place during SAP TechEd in 2009 and was of course a highlight for me during the event. I had meet Duane at the US event a few weeks before and was happy that we hit it off – hard to say when you meet people for the first time, sometimes you do and sometimes you don’t.

Duane is an amazing person having done several fascinating things in his life so far but deep down he’s a much a nerd/geek as I am so it was a lot of fun hanging and chatting during the events and working together to bring the SAP Hacker Night to the next level – more on that in a few weeks (2010 will be a very cool year!!)

He posted the episode as part of his second season with the show, and you can catch it here.

Oh and Duane, I’d take your cooking challenge! Bring it on :-) my Bruschetta to your Ahi Tuna Tataki
