Over the past several weeks (going into months) I’ve been talking about a new service called smeepe. Of course there’s a disclaimer here and that is that smeepe is the brain child of a good friend, who is co-founder of a company that I assist on technical topics (advice, etc.) and because smeepe and @eventtrack (my own brain child) are service partners now!

Another benefit for users is the relationship smeepe has forged as eventtrack’s first integration partner in a technology mashup that creates a central location where anyone can follow a collective stream of information, including videos, photos, links, blogs, or conversations. By creatively combining multiple open source technologies and many open standards, eventtrack aggregates user-generated content across more than 20 services. eventtrack enables smeepe to provide event organizers with a holistic view of how events are perceived by their attendees. It also makes it easy for attendees to share their content from conferences, product launches and other business or personal events.

It’s exciting times and I’ve excited to see smeepe taking off so well with almost 1000 listings in total already in it’s database I see it becoming one of the “one stop shops” for finding vendors and service providers in the web today!
